Mike Porchia serves as Chief Operating Officer and lead analyst at Sports Lounge Media, where he helps guide the network's vision, operations, and on-air voice. As a co-founder of SLM, he has played a key role in building the brand into a growing platform for thoughtful sports coverage and authentic fan conversation.
Mike contributes analysis across the NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, NHL, and NCAA sports. His approach goes beyond the highlights, focusing on roster construction, coaching philosophy, player development, and the momentum shifts that shape a season. Whether discussing playoff races or league trends, his perspective blends preparation, instinct, and a deep appreciation for the strategy behind the game.
In his role as COO, Mike helps oversee the operational side of Sports Lounge Media while working closely with the Chief Information and Innovation Officer to ensure the company's creative direction is supported by strong digital infrastructure and long-term strategy. That collaboration allows SLM to continue expanding across platforms while maintaining a clear and consistent voice.
On air, Mike is known for his composed delivery and confident presence. He balances professional insight with the perspective of a lifelong sports fan, creating conversations that are both engaging and informative.
Beyond sports media, Mike is an entrepreneur with experience in business development and brand creation. He has founded and led several ventures including The Mogul Brand Corporation, The Diamond Collection also known as Black Water, The Mogul Records, and Sports Lounge Media LLC.
Several championship moments have helped shape Mike's passion for the game, including the Super Bowl LIX where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes, along with title runs by the Las Vegas Aces, the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
